2013-11-01 – Sham Shu Po Neon Nights
Aspect Ratio: 3:2
High vantage points give a unique view of Hong Kong. This one taken over Sham Shu Po that is one of the poorer neighbourhoods that has the feel of the Hong Kong that many people recall with streets full of neon signs. The old world Hong Kong was about conforming as one can see with consistent height of buildings. Urban development has rapidly removed this view from much of Kowloon and Hong Kong island. Neon is also being phased out as signage laws and enforcement is quickly changing the landscape.
